Policy Statement

Love Taps Crew, Inc. is committed to creating and maintaining an inclusive, respectful, and safe environment where foster youth, employees, volunteers, and community partners are treated with dignity, respect and equity. We prohibit discrimination and harassment of any kind in all aspects of our operations, services, and partnerships.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees, board members, volunteers, interns, program participants, contractors, and visitors of Love Taps Crew, Inc. It governs activities on-site, at affiliated events, and during interactions facilitated through electronic or digital means.

Protected Characteristics

No individual shall be excluded from participation, denied benefits, or subjected to discrimination on the basis of:

  • Race or ethnicity
  • National origin or immigration status
  • Religion or creed
  • Age
  • Sex, gender identity, or gender expression
  • Sexual orientation
  • Disability, mental health condition, or neurodiversity
  • Marital status or family structure
  • Socioeconomic background
  • Military or veteran status
  • Language proficiency or literacy level
  • Foster care status or lived experience

Love Taps Crew, Inc. recognizes intersectionality and affirms the importance of addressing overlapping systems of exclusion.

Policy Implementation

1. Inclusive Program Design

All services, including housing assistance, counseling, workshops, and mentorship, are designed to be accessible and culturally responsive to all eligible participants.

2. Staff & Volunteer Conduct

All personnel must uphold this policy and undergo periodic training on topics such as anti-racism, trauma-informed care, implicit bias, and inclusive communication.

3. Reporting & Accountability

Individuals who experience or witness discrimination or harassment may report concerns confidentially to Support@LoveTapsCrew.org. Love Taps Crew will promptly investigate complaints and take corrective action, including disciplinary measures when warranted.

4. Accessibility & Accommodations

Reasonable accommodations will be made to ensure access for individuals with disabilities or other specific needs, including physical access, communication support, and service modifications.

5. Community Engagement & Oversight

Love Taps Crew is committed to ongoing dialogue with stakeholders, including youth, families, and partner organizations, to ensure continuous improvement and integrity in fostering inclusive environments.

Non-Retaliation

Love Taps Crew prohibits retaliation against any individual who reports discrimination, participates in an investigation, or advocates for equity. Retaliatory behavior will result in disciplinary action.

Policy Review

This policy shall be reviewed annually by the Board of Directors and updated to reflect evolving legal standards, community needs, and best practices in nonprofit service delivery.
