Participant Rules of Responsibility

As a participant, you agree to the following expectations:
Respect for People and Property
- Treat staff, peers, and community partners with kindness, honesty, and consideration.
- Respect program spaces, materials, shared housing, and all Love Taps property.
- Use inclusive and affirming language; hate speech or harassment of any kind is not tolerated.
Zero Tolerance for Violence or Criminal Activity
- No physical harm, threats, or intimidation toward staff, volunteers, or other participants.
- No theft, vandalism, or possession of weapons or illegal substances on-site.
- Participants engaging in violence or criminal activity may be removed from the program and referred to external support services.
Responsibility & Growth
- Show up for scheduled appointments, workshops, and check-ins on time.
- Communicate openly with staff when you need help, are in crisis, or have concerns – your voice matters.
- Take ownership of your goals and decisions — you are worthy and your success matters to us.
- We are here to walk beside you with all of the support that you may need.
Positive Participation
- Bring a learning mindset to allow yourself to grow in the Love Taps Crew environment.
- Engage fully in mental health counseling, job readiness programs, and life skills training.
- Bring your voice, creativity, and lived experience into youth leadership and feedback spaces.
- Celebrate milestones, support others, and contribute to a culture of belonging.
Technology & Privacy
- Use computers and devices for productive, respectful, and youth-approved activities.
- Protect your own privacy and the confidentiality of others, do not share accounts or passwords.
- Refrain from posting inappropriate content online while representing Love Taps Crew.
Program Commitment
Love Taps Crew, Inc. is a supportive space—not a punishment zone. These rules exist to help every youth build trust, unlock opportunities, and thrive with dignity, respect and responsibilities.
