The ELDAI Office is committed to removing systemic barriers, uplifting marginalized voices, and embedding inclusive practices across all programs to ensure that foster youth—and the communities that support them—can thrive in love, safety, and opportunity.

Core Functions of the ELDAI Office

  • Policy & Practice Review
    Ensure all organizational policies, procedures, and programming align with equity and accessibility goals.
  • Training & Development
    Lead ongoing workshops for staff, volunteers, and partners on topics including anti-racism, trauma-informed care, LGBTQ+ inclusion, neurodiversity, cultural humility and Intersectionality of Care.
  • Access & Accommodation Services
    Establish protocols and resources to support youth and community members with disabilities, language barriers, and other access needs.
  • Community Engagement & Listening
    Facilitate forums, youth roundtables, and stakeholder surveys to amplify lived experiences and guide meaningful change.
  • Metrics & Accountability
    Develop benchmarks and reporting systems to measure impact, ensure transparency, and track progress toward equity and inclusion goals.
